Foundations in the Montessori Method Level 1 – A 40-hour certification course on Montessori theory and practice with children three to five years of age.
Foundations in the Montessori Method Level 2 – A 30-hour certification course on Montessori theory and practice with children five to six-plus years of age.
The Early Childhood Education License to Practice is a certificate that must be renewed every five years. To be renewed the Early Childhood Educator must complete, in every five year period, at least 400 hours of work experience in the field, a minimum of 40 hours of related professional development, and submit a character reference letter. My current license is valid to work as an Early childhood Educator, a Special Needs Educator, and an Infant/Toddler Educator; expiring March 29, 2014, and which time I will renew.
